At the thender age of nine, Amanda lectured her mother on the offensive qualities of The Little Mermaid. It was all downhill from there there. That event foretold it all: critiques of aesthetics, artistic endeavors, feminism, hatred of the Disney princesses, and a love for Walter Benjamin.
