I was born in the Blackfoot Outpost of Academia: the Eddington household. Throughout my childhood, Academia was my primary residence, with only brief and sheltered excursions into the Real World. Surrounded by shelves of books, angry chickenc, five older siblings, and faithful family pets, I grew up curling up around piano legs and hiding in tube cases. In high school I had a long striding love for my trombone--Percevail--and my Samsonite breifcase, heavy with debate evidence and assorted pens.

My favorite vacation spot outside of Academia is Nature. I enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, white water rafting, camping and backpacking and windy days. College has lured me to obscure literature and faraway lands, as well as bizarre jobs from actress to trash lady.
