INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Why internships? Internships are a good way for students to find out what they truly enjoy and to help them choose a career path based on their experiences. They also provide students with hands-on training while allowing them to receive college credit at the same time. Some student interns are paid while others are not, but all may benefit from the learning experience of on-the-job learning.
Students may obtain internships at BYU or at private companies
outside the university. BYU on-campus
internships are coordinated through campus programs and university
professors. Off-campus internships
are administered by outside organizations, but you can earn academic
credit.
Several campus organizations keep regular postings of internship opportunities. These include the BYU Employment Office, Alumni Placement, and the Counseling and Career Center. Go to these respective offices in person or go to one of the links under Other Internship Information.
